ARTIST STATEMENT:
The 888 angel number is about infinity or the endless loop of energy. Seeing it means that you are effortlessly going with the natural flow and rhythm of what your angels have in store for you. In other words, it’s like a pat on the back and a reminder to be grateful for how far you’ve come.
I think that living a balanced live helps me to achieve my dreams. Yes, we have to grind, but don’t forget to rest, we are all humans. Ultimately, what’s most important is to be a good human.
The lofi remix song created a calming atmosphere that match with the soft purple color and flowing leaves. The flowing leaves tell us to go with the flow of life. The sparkle on my face is to remind myself to always be grateful for all the big things and the little things.
Amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic, yes, there are drawbacks, but I've gotten closer to my family in ways I haven't been before. I’ve gotten better at using technology and being more independent for university through online classes. As the 888 angel number says, “everything is falling into place,” so don’t worry, and go with the flow.

REFLECTION
Experience: It was a fun experience because I get to create an artwork based on my favourite colours, quotes, and music. I am really happy with the outcome, and I can post it on my Instagram Story as well! All in all, it was a smooth process for me.
Observation: Based on my observation, even simple designs can look good if you give them the right blend of colours, texture, and composition to create a harmonious design. It’s better to design something simple but nice, rather than making something that is complicated but looks like a mess.
Findings: I find that music can make a big impact on the result of the artwork and makes you want to dance to it. After adding the lofi remix of Taylor Swift's "Love Story", the cinemagraph brings a nostalgic feeling with a blend of modern beats and deep soothing autotune.
