MOOD BOARD

Figure 4.1 Shawn Mendes Album CoverI like how the flowers are coming out of his face. It has a deep meaning to it and looks aesthetic.

Figure 4.1 Protect Your Energy PosterI like the illustration because it looks cool and cute. I love the idea of the sun of how it brings warmth, light, and positive connotations to the artwork.

Figure 4.3 Flowers wrapped around the armsI like how the illustration brings the idea of self-growth. It is very inspiring and motivational.
SUMMARY OF MY TOPIC:
INTRO: A research by BetterUp showed that there are 5 areas of accelerated self-development during the pandemic.
Locus of control: up 78% over pre-pandemic growth rate
Stress management: up 62% over pre-pandemic growth rate
Empathy: up 28% over pre-pandemic growth rate
Authenticity: up 18% over pre-pandemic growth rate
Self-awareness: up 14% over pre-pandemic growth rate
(Key Word: Grow Yourself)
PARAGRAPH 1: You deserve to be loved not only by those around you but by the most important person in your life — YOU. Practicing self-love can be challenging for many of us, especially in times when we face serious challenges. It’s not about being self-absorbed or narcissistic, it’s about getting in touch with ourselves, our well-being and our happiness. We practice self-love so we can push through our limiting beliefs and live a life that truly shines.
PARAGRAPH 2: Great challenge brings great opportunity. Data shown that accelerated learning during the pandemic has occurred not just in the hard skills needed for new work, but, for those with personalized support, also in key mindsets and behaviors that help us navigate change and achieve personal thriving.
SUMMARY: There are so many things in your life that you want to get better at, the problem is that we tend to try to better ourselves all at once, rather than concentrate on one important thing at a time, allowing ourselves to build up momentum over months and years. One day at a time turns into a lifetime of change and getting better. We can eventually become a better overall person if we have a day-to-day plan and stick to it.
KEY POINTS OF MY SUMMARY:
TITLE: Grow Yourself
SLOGAN: Practice self-love
DETAILS (such as date, link, any related info if applicable): NONE
CALL FOR ACTION: Take one day at a time
REFLECTIONI feel relieved because this week was pretty chill. I enjoyed the tasks and exploring new ideas for the poster design on mental health. I hope Project 2B can turn out well, and I will work hard for it.
