Online School: Taylor’s University Student Bares It All

SUBANG JAYA: Zoe Teo, a 19-year-old mass communication student from Taylor's University, shared how she misses meeting her friends and the atmosphere of studying on the lakeside campus.

Even though she is already used to attending classes online, she still finds it hard to focus and feels less productive due to studying in the same room where she sleeps.

“I like that it's convenient and saves money on transport, buying food on campus, etc. I also like that I don't have to get up as early,” noted Zoe on the benefits of studying at home.

When given both choices, she prefers having classes on the physical campus to get that good dose of the university experience.

“I'll miss the relaxed mornings where I didn't have to wake up early to eat and get ready,” expressed Zoe on what she would miss about studying online as students return to campus soon for hybrid learning.
