FINAL VIDEO SUBMISSION:
ARTIST STATEMENT:
The 888 angel number is about infinity or the endless loop of energy. Seeing it means that you are effortlessly going with the natural flow and rhythm of what your angels have in store for you. In other words, it’s like a pat on the back and a reminder to be grateful for how far you’ve come.
I think that living a balanced life helps me to achieve my dreams. Yes, we have to grind, but don’t forget to rest, we are all humans. Ultimately, what’s most important is to be a good human.
The lofi remix song created a calming atmosphere that matches the soft purple color and flowing leaves. The flowing leaves tell us to go with the flow of life. The sparkle on my face is to remind myself to always be grateful for all the big things and the little things.
Amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic, yes, there are drawbacks, but I've gotten closer to my family in ways I haven't been before. I’ve gotten better at using technology and being more independent for university through online classes. As the 888 angel number says, “everything is falling into place,” so don’t worry, and go with the flow.
FEEDBACK FROM LECTURER:
Mr. Fauzi said everything is good, including the music choice. Overall is simple yet good!
REFLECTION:
I am happy with how the outcome turned out. The music matches perfectly with the flowing autumn leaves, the grainy purple sky looks so pretty, and I think angel numbers are a good way to talk about a deep message. I think me wearing the mask is also good to show that I made this artwork during the pandemic. All in all, I think the artwork looked simple yet soothing and wrapped up the Digital Photography and Imaging module nicely.
